Champagne corks are likely popping in Palatine, Illinois, after a lottery player purchased the winning $1.25 million ticket for the Wednesday, July 10th Lucky Day Lotto drawing.

The winning ticket, sold at Jewel-Osco on 45 South Plum Grove Road, matched all five numbers (13-14-32-40-41), landing the lucky winner a cool $1.25 million jackpot.

Are you the winner? Illinois Lottery winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prize. Don't forget to sign the back of your ticket and keep it in a safe place until you're ready to claim your prize.

Try your luck with Lucky Day Lotto

Feeling inspired? Lucky Day Lotto is an Illinois-only game with two daily drawings, giving you two shots at becoming a millionaire every single day! For just $1 per play, you could be the next big winner. Get your tickets today in-store or online.

Here's how to play:

  • Pick your numbers: Choose your five lucky numbers from 1 to 45, or opt for a Quick Pick and let the system select them for you.
  • Pick your draws: Decide if you want to participate in the midday drawing (12:40 p.m.), evening drawing (9:22 p.m.), or both!
  • Add EZmatch for more ways to win (optional): For an extra $1 per game, you can add EZmatch® to your ticket. This generates a second set of five numbers that can win you an additional prize if they match any of your main Lucky Day Lotto numbers.

Lucky Day Lotto drawings are held daily at 12:40 p.m. and 9:22 p.m. CT.

Another Lucky Day Lotto prize

In a separate stroke of Lucky Day Lotto luck, a Rockford resident also won big in late June.  The winning ticket, purchased at the Stop N Shop on North Huffman Boulevard, netted a lucky local customer a $900,000 jackpot. The winner, described as a regular customer who visited the store a few times a week, was reportedly ecstatic after discovering their good fortune. They expressed to the store manager that the winnings were a "life-changing amount."

Support Illinois schools

Every Lucky Day Lotto ticket you buy contributes to the Illinois Common School Fund, which benefits K-12 public education in the state. So not only are you playing for a chance to win life-changing money, but you're also giving back to a worthy cause.

Will you be the next Lucky Day Lotto millionaire? Get your tickets today and start dreaming big.
