Two $500,000 jackpot-winning Pick 10 tickets sold at a lucky store in New York

If you live in New York and are anywhere near Albany, you may want to make a quick trip over to Dharam Management — they are selling big winners in the New York Lottery!

The New York Lottery announced that multiple winning tickets were sold at this particular gas station for the April 14 drawing of Pick 10.

The winning tickets

The two jackpot-winning tickets worth $500,000 each were sold at Dharam Management, located at 247 New Scotland Avenue in Albany.

The winning numbers for the April 14 drawing of Pick 10 were 2, 12, 16, 18, 28, 33, 38, 40, 42, 46, 47, 52, 57, 58, 61, 63, 64, 66, 71, and 76.

Pick 10 - how does it work?

Pick 10 is a daily draw game from the New York Lottery. The draws take place every night at 8:30 p.m. ET, and ticket sales for each draw stop at 8:00 p.m. ET. Each play costs $1.

Pick 10 numbers, go from 1 to 80. To play, you can either pick 10 of your own numbers or choose the Quick Pick option, which allows the computer to generate 10 numbers for you.

For this draw game, there are six prize categories, which range from $4 for matching zero numbers up to the top prize of $500,000 for matching all 10 numbers. The odds of winning the top prize for Pick 10 are 1 in 8,911,711. The odds of winning any prize in Pick 10 are 1 in 17.

Claiming your winning ticket

In New York, any lottery draw game prize can be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing. Depending on how much you win, we will tell you how to claim your prize. Before claiming your prize, keep in mind that you need the original ticket in order to claim your winnings. You should also sign the back of the ticket and store it somewhere safe until you are ready to claim your money.

Any prizes of $600 or less can be claimed at any licensed New York Lottery retailer. If you would like to, you can also schedule an appointment at any of the Lottery's Customer Service Centers or mail the winning ticket and proper documents to the lottery.

If you are lucky enough to have won $601 or more, you can schedule an appointment to claim your prize at one of the Lottery's Customer Service Centers. You can also redeem your winnings at a local Prize Claim Center, where no appointment is required. The final option for prizes of $601 or more is to mail the winning ticket and claim form to the lottery.

To redeem your prize, you will need to provide:

  • The winning ticket
  • Filled-out Winner Claim Form
  • Valid government-issued ID
  • Valid Social Security Number or FEIN.
