Seventh lottery player this year wins $25,000 a year for life

Luck is still in there air for Michigan lottery players. On Friday, April 19, the seventh Michigan player this year won $25,000 a year for life, playing the Lucky For Life instant-win game. This is the second time in three days that this prize has been won.

The winning ticket, which has yet to be claimed, matched five white balls in Friday's drawing. These numbers were 5, 8, 24, 28, and 34. The winning ticket was purchased from the Hub Sports Bistro, located at 16780 21 Mile Road in Macomb Township.

If you are holding the winning ticket, you have until April 19, 2025, to claim your prize. You should contact the Michigan Lottery Player Relations Division at 844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment for your prize collection.

 The winner has two options to collect their winnings:

  • Annual payments of $25,000 for a minimum of 20 years or for life, whichever is longer.
  • A one-time lump sum cash payment of $390,000.

Previous 2024 Michigan Lucky For Life winners

The spectacular Lucky For Life wins began for Michigan players when a Flushing woman won $25,000 a year for life after buying a ticket from Borders Corner Store, located at 7024 East Pickard Road in Mount Pleasant. The following Michigan wins came next:

  • March 12: Claimed by a woman in Escanaba, this $25,000 a year for life winning ticket was purchased online.
  • March 23: A woman in Redford Township purchased her winning ticket from the Value Center Market, located at 27428 6 Mile Road in Livonia.
  • March 25: This ticket was purchased online and has yet to be claimed. It has yet to be claimed.
  • March 26:This ticket was purchased from Merriman Drugs, located at 31320 5 Mile Road in Livonia.
  • March 27: This ticket was purchased online and has yet to be claimed.

How to play Lucky For Life

For just $2, you can take a chance at winning $1,000 a day for life or $25,000 a year for life. To play, pick five numbers between 1 to 48 and a Lucky Ball number from 1 to 18. Mark them on your play slip or play online with your Michigan Lottery app. Alternatively, you can choose Easy Pick, and the computer will randomly generate your numbers for you. You can play up to 10 panels per play slip. You can also play up to 30 consecutive drawings with your chosen numbers. Match the drawn numbers to win. The prizes start at $4 for just matching the Lucky Ball.
