Lula B. from Little Rock recently became $200,000 richer after winning big by playing a $10 Arkansas Diamonds instant-win game. She purchased her winning ticket at the University Shell, located at 3200 South University in Little Rock. She traveled to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on December 21 to collect her winnings.

Lula enjoys playing instant-win games each day because she enjoys their frequent payouts. She purchased her winning scratch-off ticket at the gas station and waited until she got home to play. Shocked by her winning $200,000 icon, she dashed straight back to the gas station so the clerk could check her ticket.

In an interview with the Arkansas Lottery, Lula said:  “I just can’t believe it happened.”

She was aware that there had been recent wins in Green Forrest and Maumelle, and she hoped that Little Rock would have a winner, too. Little did she know it would be her ticket.

Though Lula is no stranger to winning, her previous instant-win prizes have been much smaller: $10, $20, $50, and $100.

“It's about time,” she said, referring to the size of her win and long-time history as a player.

Lula was excited to share her wonderful news with her daughter, who advised her that it was time to stop playing and spend her winnings on a cruise.

But Lula says her traveling days are behind her, and she plans to use her prize to pay off her bills. She also plans to continue playing the lottery.

How to play Arkansas Diamonds

Arkansas Diamonds is a $10 instant-win game with a top prize of $200,000. To play this game, simply scratch off the six silver dollar symbols to reveal the winning numbers. Then, scratch off the 20 diamond symbols to reveal your numbers. If any of your numbers match the winning numbers, you win the prize amount shown by that number. If you reveal a start symbol, you automatically win the prize shown. If you reveal a 10X symbol, you can multiply your prize ten times. Reveal a diamond ring symbol, and you win all 20 prizes shown on the ticket. The prize range is $10, $20, $40, $50, $100, $200, $500, $1,000, $5,000, $10,000, and $200,000.

About the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery

Since it was launched in 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has contributed more than $1.3 billion towards scholarships. This has enabled over 720,000 Arkansas students to benefit from a college education. The Bear State has also awarded more than $4.8 billion in prizes to lottery players.

Enjoy playing the Arkansas Lottery, and remember to play responsibly!
