About the Nebraska Lottery
The Nebraska Lottery was launched in 1993 after voters approved the creation of a state lottery.
The first Powerball lottery tickets went on sale in 1994, and the state added Mega Millions in 2010. Since November 2004, proceeds from lottery ticket sales have been allocated to the Nebraska Education Improvement Fund, Compulsive Gamblers Assistance Fund, Nebraska Environmental Trust Fund, and Nebraska State Fair.
If you don't live in the state, you can still visit an authorized lottery retailer to take part in the state's lottery games.
