Claiming prizes
Here's the process for claiming Kansas Lottery prizes.
When submitting claims above $5,000, the payment will not be issued on the same day you submit the claim. Winners will receive the payment later via check, or through an electronic deposit into their bank account.
To claim a prize by mail, send the signed winning ticket, a completed claim form, and a copy of your ID to:

About the Kansas Lottery
Voters approved the Kansas Lottery in 1986. The next year, it joined five other states in founding the Multi-State Lottery Association. Lottery tickets went on sale in 1988, with the instant game Up and Away generating over $7 million in sales in its first week.
Lotto America tickets went on sale in 1988, and Powerball tickets followed in 1992. In 2002, the Kansas Lottery launched Super Kansas Cash.
Mega Millions tickets went on sale in 2010. To date, billions in revenue from the lottery have gone toward a variety of state initiatives.
